Who We Are

Since 2001, Unicare Rx Pharmacy,LLC, a locally owned and operated long-term care pharmacy, has been serving the senior citizens of central and south Mississippi from our location in historic downtown Hattiesburg. During this time Unicare Rx Pharmacy has safely and efficiently filled and delivered thousands of prescription and over the counter medications to seniors living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential mental health facilities.

But the Unicare Rx Pharmacy story does not begin at our state of the art historic downtown location. Unicare Rx Pharmacy was incorporated as a closed door long-term care pharmacy back in 1995 and primarily served the needs of nursing home residents. Even before there was Unicare Rx Pharmacy the company was know as Convarest Pharmacy and had its beginnings back in 1970.

So for almost 40 years, the pharmacy organization now known as Unicare Rx Pharmacy has been providing exceptional pharmacy care services to the seniors of Mississippi. We are an organization with a proud heritage of care and service to our patients.
